Our current focus is the encourage the development of the laboratory as an information factory: taking complex samples from analysis to actionable insight.

From robotics to the Internet of things, to big data and AI, new technologies are emerging which threaten to disrupt existing ways of doing thing and open up new opportunities for more effective, faster, cheaper, safer and more rewarding processes in the laboratory.

We are currently involved in the Europeans Commission’s robotics program via euRobotics and the topic group on analytical laboratory robotics, as well as similar initiatives in the UK, Switzerland and Germany.
